How do I create a whitelist and what sites do I add there?

A whitelist is your personal collection of preferred sites – domains you've vetted and want to work with. Think of it as your "favorites" list, helping you quickly access trusted partners for future campaigns.

The whitelist feature works exactly the same way in both the Sponsored Content Finder and Free Placement Sites List tools, so once you learn it here, you're set for both databases.

Here's how to create and manage your whitelist:

  1. Open your project: Click on any existing project name from your Dashboard, or create a new project first if you haven't already.

  2. Locate the Whitelist button: Once inside your project, look in the upper right corner of the tool and click the "White List" button.

  3. Start adding sites: Click the "Add" button to begin building your list.

How to add sites to your whitelist:

You have two options for adding domains:

  • Enter sites manually: Type or paste a list of sites, placing each domain on a separate line

  • Upload from a file: Import a set of links from a .txt file

Need help formatting your file? Click the "Download example" link to get a sample .txt document showing exactly how your list should be formatted. This ensures your upload goes smoothly.

After uploading:

  • If you've uploaded a large document, importing may take a few moments – please be patient

  • Once complete, click the "Update" button to refresh the page and see your newly added sites

Managing sites in your whitelist:

  • Select all sites on current page: Check the checkbox next to "Domain" at the top of the list

  • Select specific sites: Manually check the boxes next to individual domains

  • Find a site quickly: Use the "Quick Search" section to locate a specific domain, then check its box

  • Delete selected sites: Click "Delete All" to remove all checked sites from the current page only

  • Clear your selection: Click "Reset" to uncheck all selected boxes

  • Delete everything: Click "Delete all" without selecting particular sites to completely clear your whitelist
